Strategy.
Think of us like your part-time CMO.
Too often, firms think of content as a box to check. But for content marketing to get results, it needs to be more than a box you check when you create your website.
That’s why we prefer to start every client relationship with strategy. Think of us as the Chief Marketing Officer you’ve always wanted, but with less commitment and at a fraction of the price. Here’s how our strategy packages work.
Step 1: Inventory & Audit
We start by asking you about your business, your customers and your goals. We have you fill out a survey and have a discovery call. You won’t have to repeat yourself, we’ll only call again if we have follow-ups.
Once we have a sense of your priorities and why you’re looking at content marketing, We study what you already have. This means we look at your website, your social media channels, the printed materials you hand out and anything else you can think of. We take an inventory and look for gaps and opportunities. And we analyze what’s working and what isn’t.
Step 2: Recommendation
Based on what we find in the audit, we make strategic recommendations for you. These might include:
How to update your website: Overall site structure, blog organization and more.
How to think about content: We won’t sell you our content just because; we’ll give you an honest assessment based on your needs, business objectives, budget and priorities.
Distribution ideas to generate leads: What to put on social, what to share via email, how to think about ads, and so on.
That’s it. Two steps. It’s that simple. The entire process usually takes three-six weeks, depending on how involved your site and objectives are.
Along the way, we prioritize education. We’ll explain the basics of marketing and the “why” of our recommendation, so you feel confident about our work together, and more empowered to make marketing decisions in the future.
Packages
Our two-part process is the same regardless of the strategy package you choose, but we’ve created three price levels that reflect the varying needs and budgets of different firms. We charge for our strategy because we don’t want to recommend one of our content packages if that’s not what’s right for you. (Think of it as a fee-based approach.)
While we offer different payment setups, all of strategy packages are a one-time cost: There are no recurring or hidden fees.
Bronze
We build an inventory of your content, then review it for quality and effectiveness.
You receive a strategy document summarizing our findings, including details around potential pain points and suggestions for how to improve.
We recommend next steps to help you improve your marketing, content and engagement.
We host a strategy kickoff to present our findings and get you started. You’ll have time to review and ask questions. Then, we make any necessary revisions to ensure you’re comfortable with the strategic recommendation.

You receive an in-depth strategic document that looks closely at your audience, and what they expect out of content, and from a firm like yours.
